    Perfect amount of hot. The meter level of 6 sounds about right. Could it be hotter, sure. But these had a good slow burn that did not eliminate the ability to taste other food. For some that's not hot enough. But I thought it was just the right amount of hot.

    The flavor on these guys is great. But they're medium heat intensity at best, as even the powder left over when the nuts are gone won't have ya lookin for water. Ultimately you'd probably be better off making your own spicy nut salt and adding it to a $2 pound bag of the things.

    I would not put this in the HOT category at all. Though the nuts have a nice flavor, if you're looking for something really hot....keep looking.
