My title says it all, if you have tried Dave's original Insanity sauce then you know what I mean about the extract flavor. Dave's original Insanity Sauce tastes like tomato paste with extract that burns and not in a good way. This has a very savory flavor and almost tastes like a taco sauce but with some decent heat. Not overwhelmingly hot so a good sauce for hot sauce novices looking to take it to the next level beyond tobasco and Taptio.

Good heat, but not too much, nice flavorful bite without too much vinegar overpowering the palate (you know who you are, Tobasco!) Seems to have more black pepper than I like, though. Otherwise a good every-day pick-me-up.

Looking for heat AND flavor? Look no further. This sauce won't melt your fillings, but your tongue will know it's there! The flavor is right-on, with just the right level of heat. Compared to other Daves sauce, it is milder than most, but for everyday, everymeal use, this one ranks at the top!
