How do I become a seller?

Submit the application on the Marketplace Signup page.

We review each request before approving seller accounts.

Is there a monthly fee?

No.

There is no monthly fee to join the Hot Sauce Depot marketplace.

Sellers pay commission on sales and optional fulfillment fees.

Do I get my own storefront?

Yes.

Each vendor gets their own branded storefront page.

Your storefront can show:

  • Your logo
  • Your products
  • Your brand description
  • Your policies

Your products will be displayed on appropriate catalog pages on our website, as we as in search results.  Customers can also shop directly from your store.

What products can I sell?

Allowed products include:

  • Hot sauce
  • BBQ sauce
  • Salsa
  • Spices
  • Snacks
  • Specialty foods
  • Related products

All products must be approved.

What are the shipping options?

We offer two shipping methods.

Vendor Fulfillment
You ship orders yourself.

Fulfilled by Hot Sauce Depot
We store inventory and ship orders for you.

Details are provided upon approval.

What is Vendor Fulfillment?

With Vendor Fulfillment:

  • You keep your inventory
  • You ship orders to customers
  • You provide tracking
  • You manage stock

You must ship orders promptly.

What is Fulfilled by Hot Sauce Depot?

With Fulfilled by Hot Sauce Depot:

  • You send inventory to our warehouse
  • We store products
  • We pack orders
  • We ship to customers

This allows you to sell without handling shipping.

Fees may apply.

How do I get paid?

Payments are processed through the marketplace system.

You receive payment after orders are completed, minus any fees.

Details are provided after approval.

Can I edit my products?

Yes.

You can:

  • Add products
  • Change prices
  • Update inventory
  • Edit descriptions

You are responsible for accurate information.

What happens if I do not ship orders?

Sellers who do not ship orders or respond to customers may be removed.

We want to maintain a reliable marketplace.

Can I use Fulfilled by Hot Sauce Depot later?

Yes.

You may start with Vendor Fulfillment and switch later.
