Extremely Hot Heat LevelMelinda's Naga Jolokia Pepper Hot Sauce is one of the hottest Melinda's sauces to date, getting all of its heat from real Naga Jolokia (aka Ghost) peppers. These peppers are on the record as clocking in at 1,041,427 Scoville Heat Units and grow primarily from the Northeastern region of India. This hot sauce won't be able to deliver as high a Scoville rating as biting into a pure Ghost Pepper would, but Melinda's Naga Jolokia Pepper Hot Sauce is still extremely hot!

Heat Rating: Extremely Hot

As the label claims, this stuff is hot. So use it sparingly. Just like Melinda's milder offerings, this stuff is delicious. Has hints of fruit and veggies that form a wonderful flavor combo, not just hot for the sake of being hot. Good stuff that you can find in many regular grocery stores. I would definitely suggest this sauce if you like a da heat with flava!

It is my favorite hot but actually has flavor and not just spicy.

Not sure why folks find this sauce bitter, confused about that. This is one of my favorites, made with Papaya, carrots, and onion, you get all the tropical sweetness up front...than BOOM.. the heat hits you after the tropical flavors. You can't go wrong with the sauce!

A little bitter on the front end but not too bad. Nice heat that lasts for a few minutes. I found it to be good on steak.....
